It has been my privilege to work with amazing intellectual properties and some very talented professionals during my career as an artist. It takes a certain element of charisma to work with the creative visions of other established brands. Its not just their vision, its an all-encompassing network of ideas which affects every aspect of the project and all members involved across multiple style guides, art directors, departments, companies, agents, lawyers, and most importantly the consumer fanbase that drives the market forward. They are the harshest critics of all. Figuring out where all of the pieces go sets forth a very difficult puzzle; the corners which establish the groundwork, the edges provide boundaries and security, and the most important middle pieces bind it all together, but may take any shape or form. Those weird pieces that should fit but feel forced, eventually find their place in the puzzle and everything works out to reveal the final image. That's what it feels like to work with major brands. When you focus on the end result and bring all the pieces together, you are simply left with an intricate and beautiful image.
